Professor Nina V. Kosova

LECTURE: Novel electrode materials for lithium and sodium rechargeable batteries: synthesis and characterization.

 

Nina V. Kosova graduated from the Chemical Faculty of Ural’s University, Ekaterinburg, Russia in 1976. She obtained her Candidate of Science degree in Chemistry in 1988. Professor Nina V. Kosova is an active member of American Electrochemical Society. She is a research group leader and a leading scientist in the Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science. She conducts research in the field of new materials for rechargeable lithium and sodium batteries. The research projects under her supervision include mechanochemical synthesis and characterization of cathode, anode and electrolyte materials for rechargeable lithium and sodium batteries.
